It's chuckle-worthy...I can see easily getting sick of it, though.

Confused OH...MY...GOD!!!...that must be a local commercial from San Fruitcisco, doncha know...
I see a 'bad lego party' coming together, where somebody 'doesn't play right' and 'snaps things together inappropriately'.
"Who wants a 'fudgesicle'?"Dead
"What do I have to do to play your 'Kindle'"Dead
I really didn't need to see that until later today, and maybe not even then. That was simply too cute.

Pa, you don't besmirch the sacred name of LEGO. It's just not done. Repent!

This is funny PaW, but I'm not sure the Lego reference is accurate. There may be crazy some thoughts of gay, bi, hetero type situations but it is the woman hoping for a get together.

LK, ol'frien'...the kids, these days...I hear tell they say "it all snaps together in the end" (they can have it!Dead), no matter you turn one around, or not. In fact, it hit this ol'Wolf one unfortunate evening not too long back. I got a 'snapped' when MissyDWolf didn't get what she wanted. She asks me,"Wha'z wrong wit'U? Goin' 'gay' on me?!", to which, without thinkin', I responded, "No - you're just gettin' old..."
The stars were really out, that night - I saw 'em all!
And, yea - everything is finally starting to snap back into place, about now.

You can bet this will be the next commercial to show up on One Million Moms 'hitlist,' even though it does have a "pro-family" couple in it.

Well the wifey has not asked me that....Not that there is anything wrong with that. I am a long time listener of Bob and Tom. A comedian there had a classic line. Completely hetero relationship, The wife said, "when your inside me, I feel nothing" You probably don't have an affiliate up there but they have some great stuff online too.

ehhh....I'm actually surprised we haven't seen that commercial, up here. This whole area could care less about 'preferences', but more about what people do for others. Was actually a major 'selling point' for why we decided to land here.

I get baited by the locals all the time - just for 'sh*ts & giggles'. Not too many ol'mixed-up harmless Irish rednecks around anymore, since Archie Bunker passed away.
In fact, in some ways, our family pretty much resembles what one might expect if Archie and Louise Jefferson were a pair and ruled the family for many years - trying to understand it can compare to 'Living on Mars', or something. Life not only has been different, it has been a blast and I really don't think there is anything at all we haven't seen, much less would shock us, believe me. I would never change a thing.
And I can be critical because I'm harmless.

I just like the commercial because they address the gay couple thing in a funny way, rather than throw it in casually as if we're not supposed to notice (I'm thinking of a Febreze commercial and a Progressive/Flo commercial).

I couldn't care less about the gay joke, I just can't stand the way they drool & fawn over how great the Kindle is, or the way the idiot exaggerates how supposedly hard it is to see his own tablet/reader.

What a load of crap. The only time one would have that problem is if they were out in the bright blazing sun & even then, most tablet reader have white backgrounds too, so WTF is the BFD?

Besides, if you're enough of a douchebag to take your tablet to the beach to read, screw you. You deserve to have a hard time.

Only pretentious twits read at the beach anyway.

My apologies to all you beach readers out there.

I could never read at the beach, whether by Kindle or book.  Too much better stuff to look at.  I guess maybe holding a book in front of your face might provide good camouflage for that.

Exactly!!!

Too many distractions.

Who can concentrate on reading when you have the urge to look at everyone who walks by???

The beach is for, among other things, people watching.

I suspect that people who read books at the beach just think it makes them look cool.

And I notice it's mostly women.

Maybe they're trying to discourage guys from bothering them.

Well, I never even got into the thought of 'reading at the beach' - but good point.

I cannot ever remember anyone ever being sober enough to connect letters, when at the beach - much less read. If they COULD, we certainly didn't know them.

I can't speak for everyone, but I do it even though I thought it made me look dorky! Reading on the beach is when I finally get to read for fun. I'm not much of a snorkler...

I don't see how you can concentrate on your book.

I've tried it once or twice & everytime somebody walks by I have to look up, then I lose my place.
