I'm more than willing to bet that the 'tards who watched and propelled HBB to the top slots are partially responsible for this abomination to-be.

It started with My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, which I thought was actually pretty good, as it was about the gypsy culture in England and Ireland---something I didn't even know existed.
Then, they decided to bring it to America with My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, at which point, the cultural perspective was gone, and it became just another show spotlighting white trash behavior---rich white trash, at that.
On top of that, the Irish and English gypsy girls are somehow just hotter.

No they are not - those tramps are but a little more than a disgrace to their race.
If TLC is going there, then it is only a matter of time (once the public stands up) before we start seeing ads for:
"The Great Chinese Massage Parlour 'Rub Hard, Rub Down, Wipe Off': <city.name>"
"Ca-Ching Ca-Ching, Who Can Earn The Most Bling? My Favorite Lil'Black Ho Livin' Next Do' "
"Howie Mandel presnts 'MOBBED' in INDIA - Surprisingly Spectacular Geng Rapes Caught On Tape"
But it will not happen until the public stands up and calls TLC to task on 'racial profiling' since there only seem to be low-life white folk.

Well, you could always just turn on your local news and watch the crime stories. You get Buffalo news? Seems there should be plenty of the non-white reality there.

I COULD, but I don't.
And I don't watch TLC, who is busy 'Holdin' 'da White Man Down'; showing the ugly underbelly of unnatural natiuralized second-generation white inbreds from the lower slices of society. These poor souls came across during the 'The Great Euro BoatLift and Motorhome Float' and were granted citizenship in little ommunities where nobody thought they'd survive. Doncha know, they seem more resilient than cockroaches and the perfect subjects from which to profit, in the eyes of 'The Learning Channel' (an oxymoron, not unlike 'Military Intelligence').
Again, with TLC oontinues to PAY atual money to these miscreants, which only encourages more of the same (but then again, we must have tons of 'Butt Heads' watching, and thus cluelessly supoorting TLC's ongoing 'programming for the stupid').

Sounds like what happened was Discovery bought out TLC when Discovery was still at the top of their game, then Discovery picked TLC's corpse clean of all its educational content for itself, and made it into a graveyard for mindless reality shows and other crap to be dumped into.

A real gypsy is normally someone of Romany descent typicalised by a nomadic lifestyle, at least in Britain.
No clue what an American gypsy is, but it looks like just about any woman going through a mid-life crisis who starts shopping in the juniors section and sucking dicks like they were cigarettes... |

All the channels I used to like have been destroyed by the Reality TV Crowd. *sigh*. I would've gotten rid of TV a long time ago, but my fiancee watches all the crap reality shows, so she is paying for it now. It at least allows me to catch the 2 or 3 shows a season I like to watch. |

60 Minutes (or maybe 20/20) did a segment back about 15 years ago, on the Irish gypsies living in the South in a town called Murphysville or Murphy Village or something like that. They're con artists who prey on seniors by offering them home improvement services, and then just taking their money. Unlike the nomadic ones in Ireland and England, they like to live in McMansions.
edit: A little Internet research tells me it was a segment on Dateline: NBC. Can't find any videos of it, but I found this homemade video about them in the South.

We as an allegedly intelligent society should unite and boycott this hideous ulcer of TV network. No compassionate, rational human being with logic would ever consider TLC "The Learning Channel" !
There is nothing that remotely resembles learning on any level. It's just an expose on homogeneous brood of 20, a community of dysfunctional gypsies, a family of fat-assed retarded walruses, and disgusting loser parents abusing their kids in beauty contests that only attracts commercial marketing execs, modeling agencies, and legions of pedophiles! Yeah right learning. The only thing we're learning is that the people in charge need to grow up and get help...fast!

That actually works! I've boycotted many, many shows on many, many channels over the years...and now, most are no longer on the air. Well, I've generally just thought of it as "not watching those shows", but you can call it "boycott" if you'd like.
Maybe my current boycott of the new Two and a Half Men (with Ashton Kutcher), will result in its cancellation.

Remember that. They'd tap on old folk's doors saying "they were in the neighborhood doing blacktop driveways and we have some leftover blah, blah, blah".

I also hear they're into distribution of Child Pornography. If I had it my way, Murphy Village, SC would be the first city I'd NUKE!!!

If these shows on TLC could be stopped, Honey Boo Boo would've never even made it through the gates. |

I read through that, I used to watch TLC (along with Discovery and History) avidly back in the day. This article got the line up a little wrong from the late 1990s. While they had snorers of programs like A Baby Story and A Wedding Story at the very end of the decade, these were really just shown once, maybe twice a day at around the 11-1 PM time. Junkyard Wars (or as it was known in the UK when first brought over, Scrapheap Challenge) predated this by a little bit. It wasn't a bad show at all at first, though by the 2nd or 3rd World Challenge-Championship thingy, it did grow a little stale and in need of some rethinking. Around that time, they still showed a ton of documentaries too, as well as a UK variant of the World's Scariest Police Chases Program called Police, Camera, Action. Along with another UK show that had to do with the worst Drivers in the UK or something like that. It was around 2000, maybe 2001 when the those Wedding and Baby Stories came around. From 2002 on, it became focused almost exclusively on Women ages 22+ and stereotypical gay men. Shows like Trading Spaces, and
Neither would it's pedophiles dream precursor, which Honey Boo Boo is a spinoff of, Toddlers and Tiaras. |

One thing about these gypsy shows, is that I no longer think of gypsy women as being like Stevie Nicks---bells and scarves and long dresses and all that. I realize now that nowadays, they're more like strippers, and are more likely to be dancing to Jay-Z than Yanni.
