Just taking a guess here, but did anyone else thing they basically came up with this commercial for a Spanish speaking audience, got lazy, and said "hey, instead of thinking up two separate ads, let's just use this one idea for both Spanish AND English speakers.  OMG, we are really smart hipster ad doofii!"  "Three"mendous is a bastardization of "tremendous", right?  Well, wouldn't that make sense to someone who speaks Spanish, i.e. "tres" means "three"?  In English it just sounds ridiculous.

So Madison Ave. has coined a new fake word to annoy us by?

Threemendous what did a three year old came up with that? no. An ad executive with a three year olds brain did? no. A ad executive with a brain of an idiot came up with that? no. An ad executive doing drugs came up with that? Yes!

Or maybe just an ad executive who's an idiot came up with that!

Whatever the case it's stupid!

CBO should stand for Crappy Burger Obesity

Let me know if any of this post offended you.

Confused...I actually find this commercial less annoying than most MickyD ads...and *might* have even gone out to buy one of those sammies if'n anyone else was marketing it.

Having said all of that, I don't like the juggler on the uni-cycle. He bothers me. I would have tossed him through the window, just for general purposes.

Agreed, it's like a mix of Spanish and English, maybe Spanglish? Why have one word be English and the following word be Spanish? What the heck was wrong with "Think outside the bun"?Angry

Ugh... this has to be the worst McDonald's commercial I've seen in a long time.  "Threemendous" should be removed with gloves and locked away along with "Swapportunity" and "Pizzaplicity" in a deep, dark cellar where they can never afflict the human race again.  This is so stupid it's mind-numbing.

Hate to say it, but Taco Bell still uses "FourthMeal." I heard it used in a radio commercial over the weekend, and their website still shows that word displayed prominently (along with, I noted with some dismay, the fellow made-up word "melty").

As much as I hate McD's...I got kinda excited when I first heard tell of a CBO import to America...the UK one looks delicious. Instead, we got a gut bomb.

Don't bother. When they first came out with the angus burgers they were really good. Not so much lately. The last few times I ordered them they were dry, crumbly and tasteless, with a slew of slimy toppings.

Maybe it's just my local McD's, but they were awesome when they first came out. They suck now.

They made up that word because technically they can't say "melted cheese". It's processed cheese food that stays in liquid form all the time, hot or cold. So now it's "melty cheese".

I've always had a gripe with Arby's calling their sandwich the "beef and cheddar". That isn't cheddar, in any way, shape, or form.

So I take it this is also the same with McDonald's?  Because they use the word "melty" too in describing the McDouble.

And I absolutely agree regarding the "Beef 'N' Cheddar." That cheese sauce they use on that sandwich is so sweet it makes me gag.  Not even vaguely cheddar-like.

And regarding the Angus burgers... I'm diabetic so once in a while I'll have an Angus snack wrap.  The last time I had one, it was cold, the "cheese" wasn't melted and the ketchup and mustard leaked all over the place.  I don't think I'll have one again.

I just hate how completely mystified the girl is when she says "CBO...Cheddar...Bacon........Onion...", like she has never heard of such a combination in her entire life.

OMFG THIS SANDWICH IS SO GROUNDBREAKING YOU GUYS. Wacko

The radio one is even more annoying. The girl is talking about the burger and some jackass keeps butting in with "Threemendous." It's just like that one where that old seahag keeps going "Tell `em about the discount Harry."

Are you Censored kidding me?! Threemendous?! What kind of Censored word is that?! Sounds like a silly one and a very disgusting one at that. It sounds like a rejected name from a porno. I rarely eat McDonalds food now, and I'll admit, I want to try the CBO. But, this ad makes me not so willing to try it. Heck, when Wendy's advertised the Baconator, it was better contrived than this Censored advertisement. WHY CREATE THIS AD AND CREATE ONE OF THE WORST WORDS IN Censored HISTORY?!!! This ad is bad on so many levels and I for one am simply baffled at the sheer stupidity of this ad. As Gordon Ramsey would say, " Censored me."
Back from an unexpected hiatus. Time to rip ads a new one all over again.

Glad you enjoyed it.  Gotta get some sort of good experience from this POS commercial Smile

Why did McDs discontinue the 'Big and Tasty'? A regular burger with mayo, lettuce. tomato. and pickle. No cheese like substance. Price $.99! At least Jack in the Box still has the 'Jumbo' which is even better. Price $1.29.

Stupid made-up words and yet another ad from a company that no longer permits white people in its commercials. Horrendous. Burn it in a fire.
