38 y/o former teen star.

They're saying "accidental overdose".  How does one accidentally overdose?  I can see that maybe he didn't consciously intend to die, but it seems like you'd have to purposely take a lot of drugs to get to the point where you're endangering your life.  If I die of lung cancer due to smoking, I doubt it will be called "accidental".

Whatever...RIP.

People can purposely OD. That's what it is when people take an entire bottle of pills in order to commit suicide.

This poor guy had a seriously messed up life. RIP, Corey.

I always felt that putting him in Lost Boys with Feldman would start a chain reaction that had no good ending. You can't confront a top banana with the second banana and think it will turn out okay.

Notice how Bruce Springsteen and Rick Springfield never toured together?

Personally, I always thought that both Corey's were extremely over-hyped.
Haim is the one I liked the most of the two....and it is sad to see him depart us too soon.

The Corey's were after my time radar-wise.  I knew there was a lot of hype over them, but was irrelevant to me.  It is sad however to have to add yet another name to the child-star tradgedy list.

Same here.  I was too old to be aware of them, other than having heard their names.

Seems Leif Garrett's asking for the same fate.  I think he was arrested again recently.

i agree... I was too young to give a f**k about The Corey's... I didn't even know about the term until watching VH1 and I'll be 30 this year!

My wife is 28 and she was all about the Corey's. I think when most men were 13 and Lost Boys was done, Corey Corey movies had transcended in to a teenage girl fluff
