Speaking as we have been recently, of snarky little commercial brats, Cascade has been running this one...

I truly cannot stand the snotty, snarky way she says "So, what does the dish-wusher DO???"

WTF do you even care, you little twerp? Are you doing the dishes or lifting a finger around the house to help with anything???

No.

All you do is sit on your precious little butt with your smartphone or tablet shoved in your face, gabbing with your bratty little friends on whichever social media website of the day happens to be popular at the time.

The only time you get up is to eat, after which you leave your mess on the table for someone else to clean up while your butt goes back on the sofa and your face goes back to being buried in your touch screen electronic device.

Kinda like me right now, actually....

Great news guys.... With the Air Hawk, flat balls are no longer a problem!!!

I know, right?  Again, brats being used to sell products they do not use or know nothing about.  Is this junior beyotch supposed to make me want to run out and buy Cascade?

I use Cascade, but not the pods.  I've found over the years that it's the best in performance and aim to buy it at Wally World or when on sale at the supermarket.  Even then, I still have to "wash" the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher.  Nothing takes off lipstick around the rims of glasses, or coffee stains in cups and mugs.  I also don't want to put dirty with food still on them dishes in the rack to save for later.  That's a good way to attract bad things in your home.

Thank you both for articulating so well what I have been fuming about whenever this hateful ad appears.  The wonderfully expressive English language does not begin to give me enough in the way of white-hot  invective against this horrible, snide, snarky little abomination that postures, poses in the most annoyingly affected way possible and chirps about what, exactly, the dishwasher (and her own poor benighted mother) "doesn't do".  I find myself calling her bad names in every language I know, this little punk demon who needs to be on dishwashing duty for the rest of the year.  AngryAngryAngryAngry.

ShockedDisapproveThe little darling is simply adorable and the whole bunch of you sound like you were all born into privileged upper middle-class white homes in the suburbs.
The little critter is simply adorable and I would actually agree to tutor the fine young lass as she clearly displays a very fine understanding of 'Common Sense'. If 'Mom' already washed the dishes, then I think she should be electrocuted, washed, and stuffed in the dishwasher and buried in the back yard, for being an air-head.Wink

Same here, as it's usually 6 days between washes (the big stuff gets sink washed since it will get used again sooner...)

Here's the longer version, if you need another reason to hate this little girl.

I can't complain but sometimes I still do.

I still like the little girl as she makes perfect sense. Poor thing doesn't ask the 'Biq Question', though: IF Cascade really does all it says, what do you suppose is in it that does the cleaning...and what does that residue do to YOU?

You can go on hating the wise until the day you die, which will obviously be before any of us. More for me.

Or do you just admire her because she's an obnoxious buttinsky who sticks her little button nose into business that doesn't concern her?

When they show her "wushing" the dishes herself, then she'll have legitimate reason to spout off her twerpy little know-it-all opinion.

Till then, she needs to STFU and go back to playing with her Bratz dolls.

WinkTHAT girl has HOPE and no Bratz dolls. She COULD become a computer scientist, I think - she has the correct character make-up and she probably has done her own dishes. Just because 'Mom' is playing 'Fool for the (Commercial) Money' doesn't mean 'Mom' doesn't abuse the poor doll once the cameras quit rolling.
You know how this commercial SHOULD go, don't you?
Let's allow little Shirley Temple to get in front of the camera and say, "This bitch beats me when nobody is looking and she ISN'T my real mother!"

I'm starting to get sick of this commercial, BUT...I say the same thing about our dishwasher. The one our apartment has is old and doesn't work that great. You DO have to wash the dishes before you put them in. Leave them as is with some caked on food and crumbs, and it won't wash it off that well. We use Finish instead of Cascade.
Liberty Liberty Liberty my a$$. Oh, and that goes with a majority of the other insurance ads, too.

The commercial makes me dive for the remote.  The entire way she was directed to deliver that line was done purposely, to aggravate us all.

Seems the kid should be old enough to hand-wash the dishes properly and help save the household some electric and water money along with not asking so many annoying questions. At least the little darling has more brains than Mom as she knew and could ask 'the hard question'.

My mother always used to say "It's a dishwasher, not a garbage disposal = RINSE THOSE DISHES!" and it's been ingrained in my head ever since.

Although I was grown and gone when my Mother got her first dishwasher besides me, the 1970s vintage dishwashers I had required pre-rinsing. Why do I still pre-rinse? Like you, because I have to.

I have not had a dishwasher for years. Who needs a stinkin' dishwasher? Grow some nads, be a man, wash those dishes by nads.

Big smile...an' doncha know, as a strong supporter of natural, organic brown dish & body soap ~with~ 'active ingredients' (includes mild abrasives but no scrubbing bubbles)!

This commercial truly defines the world of today, bratty kids and simple-minded baby creators.
