This is such a hilarious commercial.
It show Fudgie with a voiceover near a fire place through a window writing to his dad about bowling, and banzai trees, and he gets teary eyed so he pastes a tear drop next to his eye LOL, then after he's done writing the card the camera cuts to what he actually wrote, which is a bunch a scribbles! |

Yum.
Guess we'll have to settle for Dairy Queen, at least they're still around.

I'd like to see a toilet company with a mascot called "Fudgie the Turd".
Or maybe a toilet paper company.

None of the Dairy Queens near me sell soft-serve chocolate ice cream. Only vanilla. Makes no sense to me. You're an ice cream place, people! At the very least, you're supposed to have chocolate, vanilla, and swirl. It's all one friggin' machine!

Doesn't make too much of a difference to me, Holly. I've been off ice cream since February, 2007 (). 'Sides, I prefer vanilla, anyway.

I think my kid was reading over my shoulder, earlier today. She talked my husband into Dairy Queen for dinner. She'll take her usual HOUR to eat her three chicken strips with ketchup, ignore the french fries, and then another hour to eat her small chocolate soft-serve cone.
Good times....

Don't think you're going to get a 'Fudgie' if you don't correct your spelling!

We have a big ol' Dairy Queen, right across the bridge. Real clean, got it all. Probably the most unhealthy place within miles...I'm pretty sure if you stop there and pig-out, then cross the bridge into Ontario and stop at Hershey's for a 'nightcap', the possibilities of sliding into a coma, or maybe just exploding, are very high.

There's a DQ about 2 miles or so from my house. They used to have theeee BEST double hamburgers/cheeseburgers anywhere.... flame broiled, backyard-grill taste & juicier than Wendy's ever dared claim. Occasionally they'd have their regular (non-cheese) double burgers, 2 for $2. Natch, I'd be there every other day.
Sadly, the last couple of times I went there, maybe due to new ownership, I got a couple of them, & they just weren't the same. Seemed like a lower grade of ground beef that looked kind of pale & had a greasy flavor. They lacked that smokey, crispy-edged, flame grilled quality that I remembered.
Oh well, nothing lasts forever..... ((sigh))

Fudgie could be any feces-related thing that he wanted to be.
He would live in the city of Buttropolis.
