Apparently a law/regulation was passed in the UK recently saying that commercials cannot be louder than the program.
Yay for you guys. But I live in the US.  |

I heard a rumor that this may change here. I hope it does. Commercials are the reason that I have mostly stopped watching TV and it is unfair that I have to hear them from another room when I wish to avoid them.

There was a Bill going around in Congress addressing this issue. I haven't heard anything of it lately however.
