A research firm called Kagan has reported that 1,200,000 households have quit subscribing to Pay-TV in the third quarter this year. More and more households have gotten fed up with ever rising prices combined with ever declining quality. Having done this myself 11 years ago, I don't blame them at all. as I saw this coming over a decade ago. It looks like the Pay-TV industry  feels that the solution to cord cutting is to add more commercials and more "Reality Shows" and raise prices. They are in a death spiral, and the loss of customers bear witness to this.
A recent poll says all the bad boys and girls would prefer getting lumps of coal from Santa Claus instead of a Pay-TV subscription!

I quit paying for TV going on 15 years ago.

Haven't paid a dime to watch TV since June of 2003.

If I hit the lottery for millions, I still wouldn't get cable or a dish.

Happy with my antenna.

Might get Netflix come January.
Great news guys.... With the Air Hawk, flat balls are no longer a problem!!!

We installed our big TV in August, we have all the tools to cut the cord we just got to do it. If Optimum soon-to-be-called Altice gets to be too expensive we will definitely dump them.
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

I love my antenna!!!

Even with all the Spanish, religious and other stations I don't want deleted from the lineup, I still get about 50 channels.

Back in the late 1970s I thought I'd be in Seventh Heaven if I had...

1. A Big Screen TV

2. A VCR

3. HBO

I finally got my wish, in 1980 I subscribed to HBO, and in 1984 I got my first VCR. In 2005 I got my first Big Screen TV. Today I have a Big Screen TV along with a VCR/DVD Player, A Region-Free DVD Player/Recorder and a Blu-Ray Player, but No HBO. In the early 2,000s as my VHS library got larger, it got to the point I didn't need it anymore. In 2002 I received my first DVD Player (Along with my first DVDs , little did I know what would happen four years later! LOL
